Historic Toronto sold by Ray White Rural Wagga Wagga

By Lucas Myers

An historic Riverina property has sold this week, via a EOI process, achieving one of the highest prices the region has seen in recent time.

Toronto Estate, held in the Vennell family for nearly 100 years, was well known for its pastoral history and grand original station buildings. Now a fraction of its former glory, the 80.36* ha (198.6* acres) property has dual frontage to the Bullenbong creek and is close to the small village of Tootool some 30* mins to the regional city of Wagga Wagga.

With prestige detailing throughout, the triple-brick residence showcases a Canadian rosewood staircase, original pressed metal ceilings, marble fireplaces and cast iron lacework verandahs. Grand in both size and style, there is an exuberant amount of elegance to be found within the original ballroom, formal dining room and parlour room whilst basking in the properties expansive views of The Rock and the wider Riverina landscape.

Whilst Ray White Rural agents Glen Simmons and Geoff Palmer would not disclose the purchase price, nor the purchasers name, they did say the buyers of the respective property will use this as a base for expansion.
